Create a bucket list experience and VIP travel events for NCAA March Madness broadcast partner, Turner Broadcasting. Turner Content Distribution hosted top cable network affiliate partners. The experiences were designed to drive demand and inspire affiliate participation in key 2018 sports programming for TNT, TBS and Tru TV,
Experience
Atlanta, Boston, Los Angeles and Omaha were the locations for the Sweet Sixteen and Elite Eight weekend. Infrared created simultaneous events in all (4) markets to include viewing suites and VIP access at each game, pre-game hospitality, exclusive dinner events, and curated tours in each city. We also managed airfare reservations & ticketing, accommodations, transfers, and all on-site special events for the groups. The Turner / Spectrum Reach guests were immersed in memorable NCAA experiences that highlighted the essence of each destination. This enabled great networking and relationship building opportunities.
Outcome
Turner’s target affiliate market participation was exceeded for all March Madness NCAA hospitality events and future partnership opportunities were established for 2019.
