Create an international fan engagement match viewing event to grow existing fan base in New York. Man City wanted to increase overall Cityzens membership and create new official supporter clubs. The event needed to be buzz worthy and positioned as a Manchester City Football Club Lead event along with partner Carlsberg Beer.
We quickly nailed the right location and implemented a top notch Sunday party, transforming one of NY’s hottest sports bars into Man City Headquarters. With less than 3 weeks to make all of it happen, we managed the entire event A to Z including custom branding & décor, social media activation, branded premiums, and talent casting. Also on site was Man City Former Player and Premier League Legend, Paul Dickov who took charge of the half time Q&A and match analysis.
The event, which drew over 300 New York Cityzens had the energy and staging needed to create a Sunday match viewing to remember. It didn’t hurt that Man City beat Arsenal 3-nil. The New York City Supporters Club signed up over 150 new members.
