
Challenge
Aegon were the first ever Lead Partner of British Tennis, at the time making them the sport’s biggest UK sponsor, investing at every level of the game. Our brief was to activate this sponsorship via an engaging hospitality, ticket and fan engagement strategy.
Experience
The flagship event being the seven-day Aegon Championships held at London’s famous Queen’s Club – awarded the prestigious ‘ATP World Tour 500 Tournament of the Year’ in 2017. Infrared designed and built Aegon’s on-site hospitality suite and managed all ticketing, catering and staffing for the duration of the tournament. In addition to the flagship event, we also managed Aegon’s other ATP and WTA title sponsored events in Birmingham, Eastbourne and Nottingham.
Outcome
Infrared hosted more than 600 guests over the course of the Championships with the post event guest survey returning an average rating of 4.8 out of 5 for overall guest experience. We also supported Aegon with post-event ROI analysis on guest attendance, business relationships, sales uplifts and brand advocacy.
